I currently work as a Senior Software Engineer (Principal Associate) for Capital One, widely recognized as the most technology-forward bank in the industry. I lead full-stack development efforts for bank restrictions and transactions, ensuring seamless integration between our Angular UI and Node.js and GoLang APIs. I design, develop, test, and deploy software for bank restrictions and transactions, and contribute to bank core modernization projects that include a complete redesign and rewrite of our banking core in Go.
I am the front-end engineering subject matter expert for my team and am the final approver of all changes for our customer-facing web application, EASE. Recently, I successfully launched a feature that enables agents to set expiration dates and add comments to restrictions, enhancing our system's functionality and user experience.
I also piloted the GitHub Copilot A.I. Pair Programmer, assessed its value, and presented my findings to the company, leading to its company-wide adoption and significantly boosting developer productivity.
